Police are currently searching a property on Moss Bay Road, Workington, in relation to an armed robbery in ******** this morning.
An area of the road has been cordoned off and armed officers have been deployed as a precaution.
There is no perceived threat to members of the public.
Police were called just before 11.30am this morning (January 25th) to reports of an armed robbery at the Post Office on High Street, ********.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
