never had them explode Baz, but had them freeze up and had to throw them away

sorry I should explain - only to cool them - not freeze  them -hate warm lager  - then move it to the fridge -if there is room in the fridge - have them from there  

I've turned the heating up but I'm still cold ...might have to turn the fire on too
