Wish mine was.......however I have a letter for a 0% balance transfer from TSB to M&S   I phoned M&S and was told they could only transfer the 'proper value' I've paid money off it but obviously there's still interest owing on the balance ...which I won't find out till the 10th of next month when my payment's due to be in by

I'm not sure I understand ...what is * proper value* ? We do 0% transfers ....but never heard that before ??

They need to know how much I want to transfer, but after making my payment...how do I know what the new balance is with the adjusted interest added on

I prefer to pay direct debit Ros...I blame interest rates on the mess we got ourselves into in 2007/8...banks throwing money at people and extortionate rates to pay back, whilst they sit in luxury and still do  I'm not saying loads are people are irresponsible, but easy money is easily taken advantage of and people think of today and not tomorrow at times
