Hi Baz  It was very good thanks. Had a strange  encounter on my bike on the way home though. I was going up a slope from an underpass at a tube station and stopped to let another cyclist through who somehow seemed to take offence and said something in a menacing tone that sounded like " You don't want to do that" I asked him what he meant and he replied "You heard what I said." I answered "I have no idea mate" We looked at each other for a couple of seconds and then both cycled off. Too many weird people around these days.

Didn't seem so, just out for trouble I think, or  maybe he misinterpreted my politeness in some way and thought I was trying to block him rather than allow him past which was what I was trying to do.

Maybe Kimota  I was visiting uncle today ....he is 94 and in a home ....80/90 miles away

Aww My day was ok ...got last bits done ( pressie, wrapping etc. ) , so that's a relief ! Town was heaving !!

Leanne is coming tomorrow and will pick hers up, Helen is coming through Wednesday night I think and the others I will drop of when I see them Christmas morning

I think we've had more flooding in Carlisle and the weather for the next two weeks looks awful...if things don't improve it looks like people will be cleaning up again.

My gas and leccy supplier dropped my direct debits last month and I'm still not using what they have dropped it too...a refund of £300 will be in my bank in the next 10 days
