That's why I only deal in selected ones  Only a certain few get stood up/pinned up in my house 

put all mine up-even the odd few from the kids . I blu tac them on to the stairs glass doors etc - family ones go on the mantel piece on the fire place -we have tried the charity thing in work but peeps seem to prefer a card

....I'm lucky ...got a big bay window ....so just put the floppy ones there ...alongside all the grandkids photos
