Cos it's a call centre. 
Having said that, according to girl in bank, it is only inbound. I told her I wouldn't like to do outbound and she says they don't do that. It's like people ringing up and asking for the balance on their account and stuff like that

most call centres in the UK are inbound...cold calls are normally abroad

part time work 20 years ago was for housewives looking to earn extra...now it's either part time or zero hours...neither will give her a living. She will have travel expenses and stuff out of that Baz
