Thanks for the travel updates 
It took us nearly two and a half hours to get home ....but nowhere near as bad as the poor devils going north .....there was a five car smash I think ....traffic was backed up for miles and miles
it wasn't a problem Baz...only thing was I was trying to do it off my phone and wish I had my computer. I should be home all day Monday...so updates will be easier ...in fact I can be little Miss RAC

Ta I've got a highways thing on my phone ...but the signal is very intermittent up the M6 ! Can't say I'm looking forward to doing it again Monday ....especially as he doesn't really know we are there most of time ....but got to be done Cousin and wife are away for most of two weeks after Bank Holiday ....

The same ....I've put my foot down....we can't take up the slack .....especially as I will probably have my own doc appointments .......tbh he has no concept of time .....still doesn't know where he is most of the time ( or who people are ) and sleeps an awful lot ......so ....... It would be different if he was alert and aware , but ........

I understand Baz...my brother is the same and 30 seconds after we've left he doesn't know we've even been and if we didn't visit he wouldn't even ask where we were . 
And we aren't going to start looking for nursing homes until they come back
good idea,,,although you could look up reviews on line and narrow the better ones down until they get back

My brother is having more difficulty trying to converse...he starts to say something and it's gone immediately. He tried this morning and luckily got there in the end, I feel like

loads better Ros thanks, I was shattered and not so early in the morning...son in law is not dropping them off until 9...so I don;t have to be up at seven for a shower and dressed. I'll just jump in once the boys are here and settled on the x box or watching a film hope you're day was good
