Oh dear ......could be .....I think gall bladder pain is in the shoulder though ....referred......maybe it's a touch of pancreatitis ???

don't know bazzy -pain is individual -so could be gallstones ,especially with it hitting the back

it can be mixed up with appendicitis too Baz....I think the pain can be random 

TBH it sounds IBS'sy cos it changes and is non specific

no, but years ago I had the same symptoms and they thought it was gallstones then or kidney stones, it was neither...just over producing acid, but more pain this time. Although I have had no pain for the last two weeks, just flipping heartburn
