I got my desktop made to spec and politley asked for demanded Windows XP installed By far the best operating system they ever brought out 
Sprouty, how are you getting on with your new laptop? I purchased one on Monday. I have brought a book on the Windows 8 operating system, which it has. I have thus far gotten to taking the corrugated packaging off it. Only the box and 2 layers of other stuff to go and I will actually see it 
I don't think I will ever come to terms with Windows 8 
Awww Moons, I'm managing to find my way around it . although I think they've made it harder for peeps to work, I don't think it's as bad as peeps make out You will conquer it. Just ask for advice on here if you get stuck and there's plenty of advice on Youtube
I got the 'Windows 8 for Dummies' Sprouty the last part applies to me and fankoo. I shall keep 'here' in mind

Apparently, for what I've read/seen, the pooters themselves are fine but when they go wrong, it's the after sales service......no-one wants to know
This one has two years parts and labour and the guy who supplied it is a Sony registered repairer of them
