24 here tomorrow and 26 on Wednesday,,I'm off to St Bees for a family do Wednesday lunchtime with Leanne, Dolly and Zeph  So it will be great in my cousins beer garden

Got to Carlisle on Saturday....enjoying a quiet drink, goes to check on the trains and....... all high speed trains into Scotland and out were cancelled, managed to get a slow one going via Dumfries and what should have taken 55 minutes took two and a half hours...but I got there eventually...what is it with me and trains

Well at least it was going in the right direction !!! 

 

My friend aNd I are always lucky with trains ....never even had a late one , or missed connection

it was the signalling system...it was mass panic  I was one of the lucky ones...me and a young lad managed to grab a seat on this train thanks to some advice from the guy at the ticket office, otherwise I was ucked  He was going to ex uni friends in Edinburgh, well mannered thoughtful young lad who made my two and a half hour journey enjoyable

off to see my brother tomorrow Baz and not sure what else...they have the first coat on the outside of the house and I think they are due back tomorrow...so not a lot indoors I don't think  I can't even open a window

I don't think she was ever married, but I do get along well with her brother, in fact he prefers me to my ex  I have sent him messages, I may make that do ...it's years since I saw her and I'm not sure about intruding, don't think they would mind, but I might
