I think it's the meds he's on, they keep him quiet and *hugs* for tomorrow  

Well at least they have him properly medicated Dame ....often it's difficult to get the meds right .

the treatment for it has improved Baz, the medication he is on now only came out a couple of years ago and he was put on the trial for it

No. It's a very specifif type of Alzheimer's .....usually starts in the 40s , or earlier ......

Yep....passed a certain stage .....the more advanced stages ....it's actually worse for the family I think ....although I prayed that my mum wasn't aware of what was happening .......

I think he was about 53 when he was diagnosed, but I know it was much earlier than that he started...he had all sorts of tests 2 or three years before they eventually diagnosed him 

My mum wasn't really diagnosed until the disease was well progressed .....they thought it was the menopause , or depression......it wasn't as well known in those days ...but looking back she had it when I got married ......so late 40s
