it was fine thanks Moonie...I've been searching for a stand for my TV and Sky box in the bedroom...it's an awkward gap and I can't find anything that will do. I can't mount the TV, it's a stud wall and I'm not to keen on trying to mount a 32 inch TV on it

Have you got a chest of draws in there? You could put it on that. That's what I've done in mine with the DVD player on it

Stud walling is good if you can find said studs and if they are the right distance apart for what you require

they are on a chest of drawers, but it's wasted as I can't really open the drawers as the bottom of the bed is about a foot away from them...I need something about 4ft 6 long, 2 and a half ft wide and about 3ft in height...not bothered about storage as it would be awkward to get into

TV stand is too low Pam, when I lie down in bed I can't see it properly ..I need something at least 3 ft high... I have a unit with 6 drawers in, but its 39 cm wide and I can;t use that as the storage would be useless. I'm not fussed about the colour, I can sand it, paint it and wax it...just flipping finding something this needs to be about 14 inches wide...I just measured
