Same here ....on all counts ....although I have actually read two books right through lately ....and started reading a few pages before I go to sleep ...
if I'm into it I can't put it down Baz, luckily I'm a speed reader 
and me-can read a book in a few hours if into it
That's made me laugh even just guessing what it's about 
earlier on, I fell to sleep with my glasses on and had to straighten them 
but after two bottles of private bin I'm not surprised
must admit still an avid reader but only hols and weekends
I travel read lots too...trains a book is a must
I really wish I could read like I used to and take things in now
I have spells......... but until about 10 years ago I was an avid reader, I would quiet happily stay up all night to read a book
