I've switched over to Alibi for the second series of Death in Paradise

F***ing hospital cuts 

Elaine's post and I've been in touch with her she is still waiting for an ambulance and I wish she would take my Mother's picture off now, it gets me every time I go to her page. 

Waiting for the ambulance to transport Guy to Carlisle hospital. Tummy bug getting worse after 4 days. 50 mile journey instead of 2 miles. As long as he gets better soon. X

don't know Baz, he had a temp of 39 on Tuesday and I thought he was picking up yesterday ...so annoying that there is a major hospital 2 miles from her and the poor lad is going to have to trail 50 miles to Carlisle 

She lives in Whitehaven, two miles from West Cumberland Hospital 

It's madness! 

I know ...it was the same here when Mr B had his spinal op .....huge hospital just 10 minutes walk away ...but he had to go to a hospital 40 miles away !!! Go figure ! 

These governments (whichever party) have a lot to answer for  

And I can only see it getting worse ....no matter who is in charge . I reckon we may have to start paying for more things ...like doc visits  

it sure is, this is the new idea, heart attacks now have to go to Carlisle, when we have a perfectly adequate cardio department at West Cumberland

I just don't get it, they need to rake in some of the billions that they let  dodgy millionaires get away with in tax so or NH can run properly. 

It's been suggested (by what I hear on the radio) It no longer is a free health service (if it ever was)  

things will only get better when/if we get a fairer society 

   Tax evaders and tax dodgers...they're one and the same to me....both don't pay! 

I think the thing is that its grown to big ....we are living longer etc. ....and just can't cope  

when it goes fully private like Farage wants it too...if you have cancer you will be fecked. Private companies are only interested in knew and hip replacements...more money 

I agree with you Baz, no one thought this would happen, and that's why the whole thing needs looking at

that's partly to blame Baz, but if people like Amazon, Costa , Boots paid the right amount of tax we could afford to inject more money to cope with it. As is is now, the rich are getting richer and keeping a vast majority of it...then we get the dodgy ones seeking off shore aided by our banks
