she went to see him the night he killed himself, and to her he didn't seem suicidal...his welfare officer had mentioned something to her...even though he cheated on her more than once she still showed concern. I may be wrong, but they didn;t want her to attend the funeral, so obviously it was ok for him to lie and cheat, but not for her to say she'd had enough 
his dad said this..
Before the inquest began, Mr Rathband's father Keith, said: "The evidence that the coroner has been given identifies that David was let down by the people that could have prevented his death.
"The findings of the coroner may be a foregone conclusion to many. Our hope is he finds David's death was preventable in the circumstances."
