OMG

It was -27 at night when I went to Ukraine in 2004 and probably got colder than that in the  hour or so before dawn.

OMG - can't imagine cold like that

It was fortunate that the air was very dry and there was no wind blowing. but even so, it took the breath away. The daytime temperatures of about -7 were actually not too bad if you wrapped up well!

Yes, it does make a difference if the air is dry ....we had -20 something when we were skiing .....but it didn't seem too bad

Never though for one minute he was a goody goody, his wife was totally shunned by his brother

Apparently he'd had more than one 'assignation' too
