I helped with the dinner yesterday (Stirred a few pots) While Joanne ferried peeps here there and everywhere and left her mam and me to it, and dried dishes both days

I'm off to town tomorrow to pick up a free standing convector heater ive reserved at Argos ! We said after the last central heating failure we would get on ,mbut never got around to it ....but I went ahead and darn well ordered it this time !!! The lounge was ok as we have an eLectric fire ....but the rest of the house was freezing ....especially upstairs !!! So , at least with this heater we can plug it in on the landing and take the chill off should/when something next goes wrong !!!

My daughter insisted on doing it all .....and told me off every time I tried to help .....but I felt a bit bad , cos she was working today Had a lovely dinner though ......Turkey , roast spuds , roast parsnips , baked onion, peas, red cabbage , stuffing , pigs in blankets and of course , much to my GS disgust , sprouts !
