there is a female vicar at the church near our school but she hates us - the last vicar used to let us have our second carol service there - our main one is in the main church in W BUT after one year she said the kids didn't behave - RUBBBISH they sang adn performed like stars and the kids watching were good as well - she has nothing to do with our school - horrible woman

this vicar goes to the school and she knew the kids by their names so she must be involved a lot at school...never met her before, the lady vicar that used to be there must have retired or moved on.

yes that is how it should be - not religious at all but some kids need it in a way - the last vicar was like that in an unobtrusive way

exactly bazzy and TBH some of the more deprived kids seem to like/need the sort of reassurance they give - can't explain it
sprooty - how is your leg?
yes that is how it should be - not religious at all but some kids need it in a way - the last vicar was like that in an unobtrusive way
I am not religious full stop Ros, I agree with Vicar's going into schools though. I think when they get older it's up to them to question their faith and decide if that's what they want to believe or not. I had all my children Christened, even though I am an atheist so they had a choice when they were old enough

Yes, that's the way I think too. Surely it's up to peeps to form their own opinion as they get older

One of my niece's were and one wasn't. How to get off on the wrong foot with your kids
Mine were christened.....but none of my grandkids have been
it's good to give them options when they are older Baz, Lynds had her children Christened too That way they can ignore it or embrace it, I don't knock Christians and respect their beliefs even if I don't believe...if you get my drift
