I bought a turkey that was originally 49.95 for 5.60, and a turkey breast originally 12.00 for 3.00, and a duck originally 16.96 for 6.50 and a turkey crown originally 39.95 for 7.00.
So ... Sunday lunches are sorted for a bit!! Well, one from about March, coz I shall be sick of turkey till then!

Had quite a journey today, as there were so many trains cancelled and nothing going direct to Eastbourne. The communication from the rail network was terrible and I wondered around Gatwick for about half an hour trying to find out where I should go next, Eventually got a train to Brighton, and from there a train to Eastbourne. Journey time from London Victoria was 4 hrs as opposed to the usual 1hr, 30 mins.
I did a bit of frantic last minute shopping before all the shops shut and am now relaxing at my parent's place.
My daughter tried going the other way - Brighton to Victoria. Big no go, but she also is now safely at her parent's home

I just kicked a whole cup of tea over the rug !!! Luckily it's only lemon and ginger tea ...but what a mess !!
and we've spilled nowt and half pissed
Had fish pie earlier and have been picking all night. I've got enough in the fridge to feed the five thousand ...........and there's only me I think I should transfer some of it to the freezer......I mean....where's I sposed to put me wine
