I don't know whether it was an insurance or not Baz, but she had her leg amputated a number of years ago and is now in a wheelchair full time.

Apparently she got a blood clot and it was either her leg or her life

I think it's fairly common after ops Pam....that's why they try and keep an eye on it ....and get people up and moving ASAP ....

No, I meant she was in hospital the same time as I was. (I found out when I came home) 

that's some queer old insurance..I really am baffled unless it was neglect or something  Surely if they had got all that they would have just bought/built a bungalow and sold the house
