Joe Jackson in a pub in Richmond. Really nice bloke, he was working on what he described as his magnum opus (Beat Crazy) which turned out to be crap  Lemmy in a pub in Dean Street (London). Very nice bloke too but a bit scary looking. We played the pinball machine and argued heavy metal v goth. Paul Weller walking down Kings Road. We had a chat about soul music I was starstruck and told him I think 500 times how amazing The Jam were.

Bono. One of the bands I was in supported U2. They were great back then, no egos just a great live band.  Chrissie Hynde (supported The Pretenders too, we had the same manager) she's a bit of a tart with a reputation you wouldn't believe. Nice girl really despite all the rumours. Marc Almond in The Rock Garden. He had two bodyguards around him who didn't take kindly to me asking him why his single was great and the rest of his album was crap.

Linkin Park...   the kids got selected for a meet n greet with them...   I was just accompanying the kids..   didn't really drool over Chester at all..    much!

Mr C (him that sang "Ebeneezer Goode" with The Shamen)    we have a mutual friend.

oh.. & Annie Lennox mounted the curb outside my hubbies old flat in Kilburn.. trying to do a 3 point turn (its a really wide road..  she could have just done a u-turn)..   we just took a step to the side as she reversed towards us..   she laughed & waved at us as she pulled off.

Hi Marge, through circumstances I've met and spoken personally to Cliff many times via phone and person to person over the years, so sorry that through one of his tennis tournaments which I know about you had a negative experience, it's really hard to forget an experience like that if negative so I understand. I can only try to assure you that Cliff has the very best intentions when it comes to his charitable donations of which he donates tens of thousands each year through his charity Tear Fund
