The induction of labour was awfully long.  Nothing was working but I was having contractions every 3-4 minutes from Thursday evening but they weren't long/strong enough until Friday night when I insisted that I needed to go to the labour ward even though they kept saying there was no beds down there.  They finally got my down at 2am and Maddie was born at 5.26am after my epidural failed and I realised she was on her way even though the midwife said she wasn't.  She barely had her gloves on before the baby was out.

Been home since Sunday and she's settled in brilliantly.  The boys are in love with her and are fighting over who gets to watch her when I leave the room.  Daddy is smitten and grannies are fighting over who gets to visit most often.

I posted some pics but they don't even show how beautiful she really is.  I'll post more when I take some later today.  She is slightly jaundice but just need to keep her near sunlight and hopefully she'll be fine.

Awwwww ...bless her.....she is gorgeous .....

I am.  And I'm probably going to be a baby bore for ages now and talk about nothing but the baby but I am not sorry

(she smells lovely all the time but we're bathing her soon and I am going to spend the rest of the night inhaling her)
