If BB say it's unacceptable for the HMs to make fun of Sree's accent, why is it OK for Kris to carry on mocking Freddie's, and get his cronies to join in?

I noticed a number of them imitating Angels' accent on The HL show last night. That was part of a task so it seems ok to do it when it suits BB.
If this was the C4 forum we would probably be banned for typing in a foreign accent.

No, it's from what I was watching last night. I dont think they were mocking Halfwit. I think he was in on the joke. Even he must have a sense of humour. I think people are writing their own scripts for BB this year with the lack of LF and filling in what they think happened in between the HLs and the bits of LF we are seeing. We would be led to believe that Halfwits life is being made a misery. But i think its only really Kris that doesn't make an effort with him and actually dislikes him.

What are you on about? I'm commenting on something I saw directly. You may interpret it differently, but then maybe that's you "making it up" to suit yourself.

I saw what you saw. He had obviously said it before in front of them and they had laughed at it and wanted him to say it again. Because Demantoid, racism and prejudice is totally unnacceptable in this country, unless it's aimed at white people. You can mock white folk - especially chavs and the working classes and people with 'funny' accents, but God forbid you mock someone non-white.
It's like that lad Ben Kinsella - he was killed by three black lads, who were jailed for the crime. Not once have I heard the media, or ANYone saying it was a 'racist attack,' even though the victim was white and the perpetrators black.

I am not keen on mine, but I am not the only one who does not like their own accent...Also love Karly's. Really really strong deep Scottish. It's very endearing
My fave accents are Cockney, Scouse, most Scottish, most Welsh and I love hearing the west country too and even some Lancashire and yorkshire. Also love 'posh' accents like Freddie and Hugh Grant and Kate Winslett and Joanna Lumley and so on and soforth I'm not labelling it as a 'racist attack,' but I am convinced that if the victim had been black and the perpetrators white, many would probably have labelled it a racist attack. I don't know what motivates it, whether it's inverted snobbery, class envy or just plain spite. Whatever it is, it's not nice. And if BB are serious about not wanting people picked on because of their accents or backgrounds, they should sort it out.

Love the Suffolk accent too. Isn't that a bit posh too? Kris is from Shrewsbury in Shropshire: I am from about 10 miles out of Wolverhampton. Don't like Kris, at all, but I do like Freddie. He is also about 30 to 40 mins drive from me, but in a different direction. He is from Market Drayton I think... I don't know either one though.
