The text size in the Google search box has suddenly increased this afternoon.

I changed nothing but it is not big, black and ugly.

Clicking on drop-down View menu does not affect it.

I use IE8.    On Mozilla and Chrome the text size remains as it was.

Can anybody tell me why it has changed itself without asking me?

Better still, can anybody tell me how to put it back to the way it was?

Many thanks.

squiggle - thanks again. I appreciate it.

I have other things to do now so I'm going. If I can't resolve it maybe I'll just have to live with it but I don't like it much.

See you all later.   Thanks again.

You could use system restore to restore the computer to how it was before the change, that should work  Click the start button and go to all programs >Accessories>system tools>system restore

Then choose a restore point from before the problem began that should sort it if it doesn't I don't know what else you can do.
