It looks as if your homepage has been changed. That's the page you first see when you open the browser. I use Google as my home page - http://www.google.co.uk/

These are the Chrome instructions given on their support pages:

El Loro. Thankyou.  I`ve done all of the above but it won`t change. There`s nowhere at the bottom of the page to click on to make the changes.

On Chrome 'TOOLS' is a spanner, not a word - it should definitely be top right.

Try doing a full re-boot Scotty. Sometimes the page doesn't load 100%, but can look OK. If it's not loaded properly then funny things can happen.

Blizzie, thank you. That looked like it might work and then when I got to the last part it said it had already made the change when it hadn`t.   I`m still stuck.

Scotty, on the page where the homepage settings are done there should be a Close button at the bottom which is what you should click.

Aww Scotty, nothing complicated, Just close everything (if you can) and switch off the computer. Leave it off for about 2 minutes, then just switch it on again and try opening your browser again.

Yes, there was something odd the other day. My homepage was in a foreign language. Slovakian (sp) I think. I thought, what`s going on here?  Then it returned to normal and now this.

I tried that Slinki but when I click on the link it`s still going back to the nasty homepage.
