Dear C4,

I am dusgusted at the way Nadia was edited during her stay at the Big BRother house, she was fed to the wolves in aid of entertainment. We as viewers want the Coolio / Nadia explained or broadcast in full to rectify what has not been shown and I understand that it's a requirement to broadcast it. Poor Nadia, I've loved the show for many years, but Nadia's story in BB5 will forever be tainted.

We need it explained and if enough complain we may get shown the footage at some point, especially if Nadia is on suicide watch. They did it with Shahbaz and Dawn of BB7 too.

Although I too am outraged by the eviction crowd last night and the attacks at Nadia's home, I don't see what the point is in complaining to Ch4 or Ofcom or whatever. Nothing will be achieved from this.

Totally agree, if there is any truth in the editing I'm sure Nadia will sue anyway or make her feelings known. Fans complaining can only put pressure on Channel 5 not sealing any deal to take over BB

It is not unprecidented for housemates to be suicidal due to life after big brother. Sree from BB10 being one example. I think Shahbaz too. When a close friend of Nadia says she's suicidal, it shouldn't really be dismissed so readily.

Maybe the HM's will shed more light on the Coolio situation when it's over.

I agree spider, Nadia was very upset in the house and out, plus she said she couldnt give a shit, was it Chantelle who said she wasnt looking glam any more..For whatever reason, if someone says they feel suicidal, it should be taken seriously...if it is for attention, well why does someone need attention? Its still a problem....

I'd be mightily pissed off if I'd made a judgement and spent money voting based on highlights which didn't show the true story. I think that's more than worthy of a complaint.

I've read quite a bit about the whole Nadia thing and her actions in the house. I'm no doctor or psychologist and I don't even know if what I've read is factually true, but going by what I've seen then it seems she had issues prior to going in to the house that were magnified once she got in there. If it's true that Coolio was asking other HM's to confirm her gender by going up her skirt and asking her if she had a penis, then (IMO) that's nothing but total disrespect and ignorance and a desire to do nothing but make the person feel extremely uncomfortable.
Nadia and other trans won't be accepted by everyone, there will always be an ignorance towards that issue (along with other issues) and no amount of positive publicity will change that, but there should be a level of decency at least. The world is constantly changing and I think people who do not want to accept trans, gays, colour or whatever need to ask themselves what message they are sending to their kids, and furthermore what would they do if one of their kids did something in their adult life that their parent/s totally abhorred.

That's my point exactly Karma and I totally agree with your post. If the stories are proven then she really did get the sh*t end of some extremely bad editing and her mood swings would then have been put into perspective.
I think it's best she's out, and hopefully there will be some clarification on way or the other. It's unfair on both of them, Nadia if the accusation are true and Coolio if they are false.

if coolios comments are true then surely BB knew what he was like from when he was there before????? why put him in if they know he will genuinely upset someone. also in regard to unfair editing, i dont believe nadia spitting on his pillow was shown. Both as bad as each other imo

Bad editing could explain why the HMs were so shocked Nadia went out??

It's awful. I can NEVER watch BB5 again after UBB, I'm disgusted. It doesn't make sense for Nadia just to explode over someone hiding her shoes and I agree that there is more to this story that we as viewers have yet to see. We're being led up the wrong path and it's kinda like being conned. I'm concerned why I and a few others seem to be the only ones who find this annoying. I demanded that we be shown what really went on in my complaint and would ask that other people request this to. The bad thing about it is C4 seems to be the one who decides when it's right to show racism remarks and when to make a scape-goat out of someone and when not to...

I think it was interesting in Nadias VT when she said that she had gone full circle wiyh BB.

Romance, engagement, marriage, honey moon and divorce and now she was back in love.

I think she's a very voilatile and mixed up person ..................trans gender or not she would probably always be that way. I imagine she was selected to return to BB because of this. It was boring to watch TBH. I don't like seeing angry people - I also hate seeing them deliberately wound up.

Listening to Nick and Ulrika talking to Vanessa on LF this morning there were more bad tempered Nadia rants that we never saw. So although, they edited what Coolio did.. it seems, after listening them today, Nadia was edited in her favour too. Coolio may have set her off this time (we don`t know if she ranted to others about whatever before his problem with her) but Nadia`s always been an over opinionated hot head. She cried in her interview only because she knew she`d lost popularity.
I hope she looks back on the tapes of her behaviour in the house and learns from it.
Same with Coolio.

Scotty, there has been a lot written about this subject, but, when it comes down to it, it really is as simple as that. I voted for Nadia to be evicted, nothing to do with me being a 'JJJ tweenie,' nothing to do with what happened with Coolio,(I always assumed that there was more to it than was broadcast,) everything to do with her being thoroughly unpleasant, intimidating and aggressive on a number of occasions towards a no. of people and her having got way to big for her boots. If she's suffering now, then of course I feel for her and wish her well. However, her time would be better spent taking responsibility for her own behaviour and sorting out her anger issues rather than trying to blame everything on Coolio and the BB edit

One agrees with Soops. Furthermore if she had been on suicide watch or suffering in some way afterwards then it would be huge news all across the media, but it isn't.
