Hansen is right though, you shouldn't need technology to see that. If the officials can't see something as clear as that from the positions that they were in, they shouldn't be refereeing at sunday league level let alone the world cup.
I know looking at the angle where he was surely he could have spotted it?, maybe the post blocked his view or something LOL. Where was the extra linesman etc?.

Would Germany have got us on the counter attack twice if the score had been 2-2? Answer, no because we wouldn't have been committing so many men forward to try and equalise.
You realise that that's the same argument (but the other way round) that's used to justify 1966?

So it's OK if it works in Englands favour, but not if it works against them.

If he resigns he resigns, but sacking him would be pointless. We'd just be back to square one again. We tried the english approach with McClown, it didn't work so we went for one of the most proven coaches in football, it hadn't worked this world cup. But if we were to sack him, what do we try next? Another person with a top CV? Another english manager?

I would rather him go on his own accord, maybe hopefully he will stay and think about how we can do better next time.. whats the point in having a contract for a few years?, they should have gave Fabio a year or two then add clauses depending on how he do etc.

Roy Hodgson is linked, me thinks he could be off to Anfield.

We may still have lost had Lampards goal been allowed, we didn't deserve to win, but fact is Lampards disallowed goal has played a HUGE part in the outcome of the game. People will say they scored 4 and we scored 2, but their last 2 were as a result of us going all out attack to get back in the game.

But England were never in front?

When the France v Ireland game was on you justified the French goal saying Ireland were never in front and missed goal chances. So I am doing the same. Ain't life just a bitch.
I never once justified the french goal, it clearly shouldn't have been allowed. All I said was that all this 'Ireland deserved to go through' bollocks is just that, bollocks. They didn't deserve to be there at all, just like I said England didn't deserve anything from todays game despite the decision.

Nice try though.

darlo .... i will cry if Mourinho ever becomes United manager
Unlikely, why on earth would he go to a club which is over ÂĢ1billion in debt? Call me delusional, but I think theres more chance of him coming to City. Not won anything for 34 years and the owner would allow him to buy the players he wants and the club has the money for any player in the world. A challenge which is lined up perfectly for him.

Not one of those players play anywhere near as badly as that for their club teams. If that isn't the manager's fault who's bloody fault is it? Gerrard on the left is a joke. Gerrard and Lampard together is a joke (they've never played well together, ever). He plays a formation that not one single player in the England squad plays with his club. He refuses to play Rooney on his own up front despite the fact he scored for fun playing in that position in the toughest league in the world. There isn't an opposition manager in the world who doesn't LOL when they see Heskey or Sean Wright Phillips coming on to the pitch.

Mr Capello. Please do the honourable thing and f*ck right off. You're a fraud.

Butcher is making a good point on sky. When do we ever see a team winning any of the top prizes playing with 2 in midfield and 2 up front (442 basically). Even in club football, the winning formula over the past few years has been playing with 1 main striker and 3 in midfield with 2 wide players.

I'm certain we would have been more of a threat and more solid if we'd played the system of Lampard, Barry and then Gerrard in front of them playing behind Rooney as the main striker. Think it would have given us more balance.
