I can't but I make egg free pasta with my little pasta machine   I even have a special wooden coat hanger that I use only for hanging fresh pasta off

hummmmmmm wouldn't putting the chops on a cold wooden slab thing make them cool too quickly????

no idea - I suppose it has something to do with Dutch settlers using them in the US when they first colonised the country   they hang them on tripods so I guess it's a sort of outdoor oven
