I remember my mum used to knit all our jumpers when I was a kid ....

My mum did too - she’s a lovely knitter.

I used to knit baby clothes and then jumpers for my boys. Not now, they’re too blooming big!

Awww I knitted bootees for my kids ....and lots of un finished items

I started knitting again when PB was on the way but never finished it

Poor left handers, must be hard to learn how to knit if the teacher is right handed

Yes, my son , granddaughter and grandson are all lefties ....I think I was too , but it wasn’t allowed in school when I was a kid ....but I still sew and do practical stuff left to right ...

My mum was but was made to change, and hubby is.

I would never have the patience for this. I once bought a simple cross stitch set - I lost patience before I’d sorted out the threadsπŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

See I’m not bad at embroidery ....but rubbish at actual sewing

I can sew on a button and, at a push, I can put up a hem - that’s it.
