My sons noticed it when they used to go abroad on lads holidays. The northern lads used to hang about with the Scottish lads, rather than the southern lads.

I think the South tends to be more cosmopolitan ( as in people tend to move around more , and come from all over) , so nobody notices ..if that makes sense .....I know I got a real shock at the attitude to southerners ( aka me ) when I moved up here 30 years ago
