never would have thought to put my potatoes in a food processor  and I wish he'd say 'way-fer' not 'waf-er' tis irritating me

when I used to cook veg etc., on the hob I always did it boiling the kettle first - but I now steam everything

That reminds me of the time I troughed half the chocolate decorations my mum had put on our Christmas tree. I persuaded my late brother to eat one, then when my mum asked who'd eaten the chocolates, I said, "we did". My brother never let me live that one down.
