Yes, I think the fact she used the word pie for cottage pie I found strange she felt it was not appropriate for their venison pie. But for me a pie should have a crusty top even though I know it does not

Lol good to see the obnoxious Barbie wannabe come last.  No excuses for her behaviour and I wish Matt would get wise.  She is not a child to make excuses for. Feel sorry for her Matt though, and although he continuously made excuses for her I think he realises she is just plain ignorant. 

Unpleasant food (I mean really who minces venison to make a venison style cottage pie, It looked so mediocre and good venison (one of my favourite meats) is far from that.  Just use middle beef seriously),

Unpleasant personality.  I give them a 4 sympathy vote, only because Matt has to put up with that lol.  I do not think 7 was low, apart from the food, she made for a really unpleasant dinner party experience.
