I used to get fed up with people telling me to "have a drink and let your hair down". I don't need a drink to let my hair down.
I get that a lot at work. I am currently the butt of everyone's drinking jokes. I used to drink as much as everyone else when I was younger and had many a session where the next day was a series of nausea, forced toast easting and paracetamol.
But as I got older I just grew bored of drinking to the point that I am as close to a teetotaller as you can get and happy with it.

That sounds like me. I'm not a strict teetotaller, but I could count on one hand how many drinks I've had in the last ten years. Drink just doesn't float my boat.
