Heres my take on it...that cafetiere does do two cups but not 2 mugs...which is what they provide...so you could have 2 half full mugs(depending how much milk you put in) which is enough if its strong real coffee.....

I agree, but I think there is an extra bit of needle between Raine and Trush...and I dont like either of them so Im just putting the other side., Really its not an issue..what I hate is those thick cups you often get.
