I was just about to say she would win when I saw her putting barley in....orzo is pasta wot looks like rice...barley is slimey and heavy

I've found it hard to get Orzo in Birmingham so I'm wondering if she's had the same problem but I agree with what you say about the barley being slimy and heavy   think I had to order my orzo online

Pearl barley is good in Scotch Broth soup.
