He was my favourite ever TV detective!
Mind you...he was no spring chicken.
Awwww
I loved Columbo
I never tired of watching Columbo, no matter how many times I'd seen it, I was always up for a repeat showing
I always loved the way he said "just one more thing" and then solved the case
Great show - looking forward to loads of repeats now.
RIP Peter Falk
I'm sorry that he's passed over but I hated Columbo (the character not Peter Falk) with a passion
i think he was the only tec programme that always showed the killer at the beginning-or am i wrong?

Awwww, I liked him And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Columbo! One of my fave programmes... we have 10 box sets of the films... There's nothing better for me and hubby, than a cosy Sunday afternoon in when it's raining, with a box of choccies and a load of cappucino and a rollicking good Columbo film! Also love MONK... similar to Columbo, but more modern. What a sad loss.
i take it you havent got the 'alibi' channel lol
I've got millions of channels pirate, and I only ever watch the first 4
Columbo is actually on BBC1. BBC2, Universal, ITV1, ITV2, Channel 5, as well as alibi... so there's plenty of opportunity to see it.

columbo
macmillian and wife (that used to make me laugh)
shaft - i think?
anyone remember the names of the rest?
I just saw this on the news... very sad Columbo was really a groundbreaker programme with the less than chic detective and as pirate said, for letting the audience see who the killer was at the start..... R.I.P. Peter Falk
anyone remember the names of the rest?
Petrochelli (sp), the one who lived in the caravan
Aww ,he was good age though,he came across very well on chat shows etc. My late mum used to love Columbo,a different type of cop show compared to the slick, forensic stuff now on.

DUEL!!! REALLY good. One of Steven Speilbergs early films I think....
Robert Blake (b. September 18, 1933) is an American actor who starred in the film In Cold Blood and the U.S. television series Baretta. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted for the 2001 murder of his wife, but on November 18, 2005, Blake was found liable in a California civil court for her wrongful death.
Correction he didn't "get done" he was aquitted...ahem!
Duel ... of course *slaps forehead*
Well done katty - another good sleuth moment
Who needs TV detectives when us lot are around
The whole storyline idea of DUEL, sounds boring, but the actual film was really tense and creepy... American roads (out of the city,) are just long long long with few turn offs, and it's hard to lose somebody if they're hassling you. That's why hijacks/carjacks are more common there than here.

Actually it was Sprout and me that said DUEL, but we're not offended
