I was just sent this in an email, its not as easy as you first think, but it IS fun! Good luck Big Grin

Colour Test

These are the things we're supposed to do to remove the cholesterol around our brain and try to slow up Alzheimer's Disease.. It took me 2 times before I could finally tell this brain of mine to concentrate. A great test, do it until you get 100%!
Bet you can't get 100% on the first try! But I'm rootin' for you.
This is pretty neat! See how you do with the colors! Have fun!
It takes an average of 5 tries to get to 100%. Follow the directions!
It's harder than it seems, as it should be!
A brain waker-upper for today!

I got 100% first time as well Nod
Maybe it's because I'm a leftie.

I'm not, my son is and my late Mum was a leftie too but I can take a note down with my left hand if I have to, quite legibly. Confused

It's called the Stroop test, Squiggs. There are other versions of it online that you can find if you're interested. Trick is...just look at e.g. the lower left corner of the first letter. Wink

Subby.... Valentine Just have to ask what you think of Speilberg remaking Harvey. Not at all sure myself... you don't mess with a classic, it's one of my fave films!

Disappointed NOOOOOooooOOOOOOOO! They'll NEVER find anyone to recreate the gentle beauty with which James Stewart played Elwood.

Some things should just never be revisited. Shake Head (It's my joint fave film too).

(Morning, btw Valentine )

"Steven Spielberg is to direct a remake of 1950 Oscar-nominated film Harvey, adapted from the Mary Chase-written play.

The classic film starred James Stewart who befriends an invisible 6ft tall rabbit.

Film publication Variety reveals that the Spielberg remake will be a co-production between 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks.

Variety also speculates that Spielberg is hoping that Tom Hanks or Will Smith will play the title role".

Disappointed

Tom Hanks might just pull it off.

OMG.... I didn't read any articles on it, the whole idea just left me cold. I agree though, Tom Hanks might manage it, but Will Smith? What kind of fool came up with that. It's James Stewart's role though, and only his. The really annoying thing is, I know I'll have to watch it, just to see what he does with it!

Exactly, Kaffy. And I won't like it. Frowner

Just realised something isn't quite right in the MSN article I posted earlier: "Variety also speculates that Spielberg is hoping that Tom Hanks or Will Smith will play the title role".

They're playing the rabbit? Disappointed Laugh

Nod I'd love to see the journalist's face when he finds out who Harvey is. Laugh

If you're interested in reading a bit of a discussion about the merits of re-making the film, this is pretty good.

The OP's explanation of why he loves it is pretty close to mine too. (The argument in a comment that it has "no compelling central idea" is, to me, astonishingly imperceptive for a so-called expert film commentator. Disappointed )
