How can he not know who we fought in WW2 Surely he must have at least seen a war film!
There's an example of the Government policy not to teach history properly in schools but you're right - he must have come across something in life like a film - even Saving Private Ryan - I bet he's seen that load of tosh or Dad's Army - that's BBC 2 at the weekend
It's definitely a cold - I woke up this morning and haven't stopped sneezing - I'm seeing double with this screen and the same with the telly - I think after this I might go back to bed *queue lots of sympathy*
Hello all. Feel a bit sorry for Ray and Glynis. That boy who didn't know (or pretended he didn't know) anything about the two world wars is going to get on my nerves.
As rough as feeling like a "Leopard"...? Sorry Cosmopolitan...... I am not at my most astute at this time of night
Sorry Baz. It was a reference to last years contestants - the Chuckle Sisters, Anne and the woefully misnamed Grace. They laughed at the lamest innuendo, had never been outside of Leeds possibly, and were often on the verge of keeling over from fag-induced wheezing. Tena Lady was their friend.
Here's a reminder
As for today. It's one thing to show contempt for some old bloke that you dislike, but another to show, or imply, ignorance about 2 World Wars. Worse when it's a museum dedicated to such an awful part of our history.
It was excruciating watching such a pathetic creep try and use Ray to get a cheap laugh. And I was no fan of Ray's.
LOL>.... I remember now They were a right pair weren't they! And I agree...... either he was very ignorant... or pretending , just for effect.... either way , it was pretty pathetic!
LOL... thanks Yes..... I just wish they wouldn't show all those clips at the start, cos you can see from them who is on the bus at different stages....
i can't post while it s on TV as it's tea time for my daughter but I'll put my two penneth worth in now...
The silver surfers Ray and Glynnis must have known they wouldn't last long but I did feel a tinge of sadness when they got the red card - Glynnis's face couldn't have been any more tight lol! 'It's fine it's fine' Ha ha it so isn't woman you're about to implode! Ray did make me laugh when he says 'We met on the internet' in such a way like it's something REALLY shocking or amazing!!!
Can't bare those two lads (forget their names) The WW1 and 2 ignorance was frightening and if I'd been Ray (thank god I'm not) I wouldn't have indulged his stupidity by talking to him I'd have cut him off... The other lad has got a face I wanna punch with his inane grinning and gurning grrrrrrrr
The girl who piked out of the sailing is lucky they had Ray and Glynnis on the coach as she's slipped under the radar for not doing the first event!
It looks like there is gonna be some clashes which will be interesting in present and future contestants but I agree Bazille I hate the clips at the beginning as you do get an idea of who is voted out which spoils it somewhat.
