Just watching it on BBC,awful news.
Oh no
Jeeze..! There's bound to be a lot of casualties - it's the weekend! All those poor sods out enjoying themselves
Such a busy bar too.. there's a beer garden between it and the Vicky Bar, it's gone .. this is just terrible
Shit, Kaffers is in Glasgow tonight.
Reports of people trapped, looks like the copter fell through the roof of the packed pub,no fire or explosion thankfully.
Please, is this anywhere near the Royal Concert Hall? Does anyone know?

Jeeez.. any way of checking she's OK ? It's a folkie/ bluesy type bar , would that be her kind of place?
Royal Concert Hall?

No it's a good bit away, the crash is on the river side, the concert hall is well away from it.

Katty, thank you SO much. I'm little less alarmed now. Thank you, thank you
Everyone in Glasgow knows the Clutha Bar an old "traditional" pub that has live bands etc.I walked past it every day on the way to the sheriff court for jury service in the early summer.Confirmed it's a police helicopter
Do we have any FM's who live in Glasgow?

I'm sure all is well.

I do, not near the scene.
How shocking
I hope Kaffy was well clear.

Hope they all stayed home tonight then.
Bizarre watching this .. someone who was in the bar says the ceiling didn't actually come down , it just tilted .. I really think the beer garden area has taken the brunt of it
What time did this happen? I'm more worried about Kaffs now because, yes. a folksy/bluesy/live music pub would be just the kind of place she would go to post concert

Agree
I'm going to have a nose on Twitter and see what time her gig ended.

It's quite a distance away though. I don't think she'd want to go that far away from the train station (which is very close to the concert hall) unless she's got somewhere to stay in Glasgow overnight.

Started at 7.30..fook I hope she went on and on as much as she did on QT last night
She might have driven down to Glasgow?
The concert hall is a good bit North & West of Central Station
She might have driven down to Glasgow?
She doesn't really drive that wee green car, you know!
Would she know about the Clutha Vaults - and where it is?
I didn't know about this so just switched over to the BBC. Thankfully no fatalities being reported, I hope it stays that way and that there are no serious injuries

Oh, she drives a wee green car alright
Wouldn't most people venture to the river side for a drink - like they do in London?
not really Cosi , the Clutha, Vicky and Scotia pubs are all close to each other and tends to be a regular crowd.. was 10.25 the crash too, so doubt she would have been there at that time .
was a ska band on tonight too

22.25, obviously my thoughts and prayers are with anyone there, but can't help be concerned about kaffs

Thanks Slinki; I'm relieved to hear that it's unlikely that she'd get that far along towards it For a moment I just thought it might be like in London where people meander from bar to bar and end up river side just for the hell of it. Ta, darling
She's probably baffied up and singing Perfect in her jim-jams

We need to calm down Cos, (she says talking to herself and biting fingernails) Looks like there was a specific gig there tonight 'Esperanza' ska band, doesn't sound like Kaffer's cuppa
I know, Supes. Am a hysterical bint at times
