It may be 'only cleaning' but that would depend on whether you expect a good standard or not.  £10 an hour is the top end round here; I think the average is about £6.50 an hour - but it varies depending on where you live of course.

Possibly, Supes....?  I do know that if you get a good 'un, they're worth every penny.  It also depends on what exactly you want them to do, of course.

Surely the answer to this question is 'How much will you charge your mam?' If you clean for her it solves so many of your financial difficulties?  You do have to research the relative merits of cleaning products however, but that's all part and parcel of learning new skills!  

Good thinking Zochi, he could treat it like a YTS course or something? Well, it'd be better than flipping burgers.
