I love OMD and much of the electro music of that time.
I saw Human league recently, good gig and.... yes they played Electric Dreams.
I was personally pretty chuffed that they also played Being Boiled.

EC I'm sat here enjoying the 12" version of Electric Dreams.
I didn't think Electric Dreams could get any better until I found the 12" version.
I'm now on a search for a 12" version of my husband . No I didn't!

I have been having a chat with Cinds regarding the Human League (there is an thread somewhere below this one). We both saw them recently too.
Being Boiled seems to have become a bit of a feature these days when they play live. Heaven 17 also do ti live (saw them this year in Sheffield - they were excellent).
I wish they would drop in the some oldies like Empire State Human or Almost Medieval which they have done on the odd occasion.
Got my ticket to see OMD
OK Sprout (as promised I have put together the track listing to Organisation).
Track 1 : Enola Gay
Track 2 : 2nd Thought
Track 3 : VCL XI

So that be the album in it's vinyl entirety.
Always takes me back to my youth listening to these songs. One or two even bring a tear to the eye.
Hope you find enough to like in there Sprout.

Excellent, glad you've seen it.
My work is done here.
Enjoy
Just booked tickets for OMD in May
Didn't know they where still together
Nor me. Glad though + hope they have success
Kaffy.
I don't know if you are aware, but John Foxx is the support for this tour. I was delighted when I heard this news as his solo gigs are not cheap, so for me two for the price of one .
For anyone who does not know or remember John Foxx, he had a hit with Underpass and not much else. He was also a member of Ultravox for a while.
John Foxx is prolific as a musician and has released many, many albums over the years. I own most of them!

Yes OMD are still together, although for a few years Paul Humphreys left to pursue a solo career. Andy McCluskey continued with OMD producing albums and in his spare time writing hits for Atomic Kitten !!!
They reformed in 2006. This new album will be the second release with the classic lineup.
Here is the discography (they are now 12 albums strong !).

Thanks EC - I didn't know who the support was - I recognise that single though.

Had a look thanks EC. Didn't realise they were recording up to 1996, before their break.

To be honest, I like the first three albums the best and then some tracks of each of the next three.
