Did you ever go to any of the Here & Now concerts?

Off to look for tickets.

Just checked, unless you go to Bognor or Falkirk you're out of look.

Yes, I caught a couple of those Here and Now events. I remember one where the headline was Paul Young. Unfortunately he had spent too much time in the green room. Staggered on stage and struggled to deliver and kind of performance!

Nothing near you? I'm not sure where you are in the UK.

If you liked Enola Gay, you should have a listen to the album it came from (just happens to be one of my favourites).

The album is called Organisation.

I'll see if I can get hold of it

You can listen to the album on YouTube. If you want I will get some links to the individual album tracks for you to listen to.

Ah right, ta. I'll catch up in the next two weeks when I'm off work

Unless there are some dud tracks on there and mostly there are only some worth listening to

Organisation is a great album.  It all went a bit iffy after Architecture and Morality, IMO.

I'm off work too from Friday, so will do the links then.

I love the album Sprout, so for me there are no dud tracks, but only you can make that decision. I have lived with this album since it's release in 1980. It's like an old friend now.

I will only include the original 9 tracks from the album, not the re-released extended album of 15 tracks.

Original release

Side One

  1. "Enola Gay" (Andy McCluskey) – 3:33
  2. "2nd Thought" (McCluskey) – 4:15
  3. "VCL XI" (Paul Humphreys, McCluskey) – 3:50
  4. "Motion and Heart" (Humphreys, McCluskey) – 3:16
  5. "Statues" (McCluskey) – 4:30

Side Two

  1. "The Misunderstanding" (Humphreys, McCluskey) – 4:55
  2. "The More I See You" (Harry WarrenMack Gordon) – 4:11
  3. "Promise" (Humphreys) – 4:51
  4. "Stanlow" (Humphreys, McCluskey) – 6:30

I would tend to agree Carnelian. I liked less and less as each album went by, especially when there was just Andy M left. I did like a few tunes from Junk Culture and Crush, but you could have made one album out of what I liked.

Certainly the first three albums were their best.

Saw that in a newspaper at the weekend!

I had a bit of a crush on Kim Wilde back in the day.

When I was younger I used to get told I looked like Kim Wilde.  Honestly could never see the resemblance.  Now I could, blonde, middle aged and a tad bloated

I still find Kim attractive, not as much as I used to, but I still do. and she is a gardener, not sure why that is important, but I thought I would throw it in anyway!

My Kim Wilde years were when I was 16/17.  Once I moved in to my early 20's I got told I looked like Annie Lennox (I think that was more because I had very short cropped hair), now I get Zoe Ball.

EC, didn't Kim Wilde do gardening on a TV show.  I seem to have a mental image of her in dungarees gardening on TV.

Yes, I think I may have seen Kim on the Chelsea Flower show programme and possibly on Gardeners World or some similar programme.

Oh, I was never a fan of Annie Lennox's look, liked her music though esp with Eurythmics.

Re Annie Lennox, my hair was short but never as short as hers was.

The power of Google (I'm at work so thinking better of doing too much Googling!). But that programme does ring a bell or two. Was it Channel 4?

AL's hair was pretty short as I recall. I don't think she has changed it much over the years has she.
