Have you any more stimulating places to take a couple of lads? We may have to spend at least a couple of days out in Newcastle.

How old are the lads?
When are you coming Joe? It's a shame if it's not this weekend as you could have took the metro to North Shields then the ferry down to South Shields and gone to the Sunderland Airshow.
Gateshead MetroCentre is Europes biggest out of town Mall - with iMax cinema and bowling alley.

Web site looks rather poor so i would call them as its undergone a recent major upgrade and may have changed since i was last there.
Newcastle City Centre is worth walking around if the weather is nice.
Down Grey Street (look right to see St.Nicolas' Cathedral) down to Dean Sreet and onto the Quay-side. Turn left - walk down the Quay-side waterfront towards the Millenium Eye footbridge to cross the river and see the Sage and Baltic.

Thanks! That's Newcastle sorted.
