Ok, Ok, I'll join in Not the song by the Waitresses but your pressies. Do you just wrap them and that's it or do you do the bow and twirly stuff?
Me? I just wrap them. After all, it's not about the wrapping....it's what's inside it

I tend to put bows and swirly's on the grown ups pressies..... and just wrap the youngsters... so half and half
I wrap and add bows to the main presents, but the others just get wrapped.
What can I say.......I'm just a plain and simple girl
"special" pressies and if the recipient is only getting one pressie get the full works - ribbon and bows (all matching), childrens are just wrapped (nicely) and if i'm feeling then i tape all the edges leaving nowhere to open

LMAO!
any baskets or hampers are done in christmas cello wrap with a bow and lots of twirly ribbons
my main Female presents are done with bow and twirly ribbon - Male ones just a bow and paper but these are also mysteriously wrapped in various boxes so as not obvious and the inner parcel maybe wrapped in anything I have to hand
anything else is just wrapped and tagged

I must feel all the time I am wrapping as I do this to every parcel unless it is an inner one going into a mysterious box - then the outer box gets the full tape works
I love it when I'm given a pressie that 'rattles and rolls' as in the obligatory Maltesers, and peeps say.......I bet you can't guess what that is (Same as a bottle bag.....hiding what?)
I disguise obvious stuff like CD's - DVD's and books in various boxes and bubble wrap - then I wrap (in lovely paper) - I write the names on directly on the paper then when I have more time I do the tags (ribbons and bows for big/special) pressies and if I can be bothered I sometimes put tiny baubles on them.
Yeah Soozy, I'm gonna have to find some other way of disguising my nephew in law's pressie. He either gets a CD or DVD or computer game
Your solution sounds good to me
I'm awful, I am meticulous with all of my wrapped presents. Even when Master Cinds was little I wrapped them so precisely he couldn't get in to them . On the upside, at 15 he's still trying to open the presents from when he was 6 months.
I'm going the brown paper with lots of bows route this year. I've also bought tape that is about 2 inches thick and decorated with snowmen etc for the parcels I can't be bothered to bow up.
I used to do bowss etc. but the past couple of years i have just wrapped and tagged in coordinating paper/tags, i have that many to wrap it's a pain in the butt doing anything else when its all just going to end up in the recycle bin. i buy nice foil paper in silver/pink/purple colours and get tags in similar colours.
SANTA DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO WRAP STUFF!!!
My OH makes me wrap everything When I was wee we didn't have ours wrapped, we just saw everything in one go and 'woooooooooooowww'd for ages just taking it all in.
Now I have to wait while my kids finally get the wrappers off before I get a wow then they fire it down and move on to the next.
I really hate wrapping! BUT I do it....just xmas paper and sometimes for the sister or the niece I'll add one of those sticky bow things.

Yeaaaaaah, that's my thoughts too.......why do it when you don't need to It's all gonna end in the bin one way or another

I am a bag tart!!
I wrap my presents up in el cheepo paper, then put them in bags for each person.
I buy a job lot of bags, in a theme, each January in the sales!

Now that's organized! I love that idea, alas im usually too skint or hungover from all the festivities (and lots of shopping) to venture into the sales
Noooo Jen, get organised woman. I bought a job lot of 'Santas house' bags last year, marked down from ÂĢ2.20 each to .39p each.
Job's a goodun etc

I dont usually bother with sales but do make an effort to get to Town a couple of days after Christmas just to go to the card shop sales - normally bag a lot of next years paper-cards-tags-bags-bows - tree decorations - lights etc and any thing else I stumble across and then pack away in the huge christmas box that stores everything
I can't wrap presents to save my life. Air pockets everywhere!
OMG... some of you must have a degree in wrapping. Mine look like colourful fish suppers... and if you're lucky I won't have accidentally stuck my finger through the paper after it was done.

I've had enough practice over the years ..............TBH - I'm not a real precise, exact wrapper (they look the part but I don't have time to measure and calculate) one of my sons and my daughter are precise to the mm - then again they don't have anything like the amount I do.
