Of course ....he's got me as a mum
I was pondering the subject of Christmas carols while attempting to sing along to a couple during our school's prize giving ceremony last Thursday. Maybe it was because I was trying to sing along with 600 boys but I really struggle to sing bits of them!
To reach the high bits I have three choices -
1: start uncomfortably low and hit the high bits with aplomb
2: start at a normal level and dramatically fail to reach the high bits
3: start normal, then drop down for the high bits, sounding totally ridiculous in the process
In the end I went with choice number 4.... give up and mime your way through it.

That is probably my least favourite, are you sure your son got his good taste from you?
Fairytale of New York and I will stop the Cavalry. Two popular Christmas songs but both have very un-festive lyrics
