Mrs Jer had to leave the room. Does anyone else feel like throwing their electric wireless through the window?
Now he's playing that Buble shieght.
I like George Michael and that Carey one.

I quite like Christmas songs but at this time of year I do get fed up with hearing the same ones over and over again.
I too love Wham. The Springsteen version of Santa Claus is coming to town is one I like too along with Fairytale of New York.
My parents loved Jim Reeves and we always had his Christmas Album playing at Christmas in our house. Even now it doesn't really feel like Christmas for me until I have heard the album.
Ah ok Joe, not sure what one that is then. We need JulesYog back here as she was the expert on all things George Michael
December Song (I dreamed of Christmas)

Fairytale of New York is my favourite as well, Veggie. When you listen to the words it's not exactly full of peace and goodwill, though, is it?

Mine too
And ... that Bubbles man's new CD is jolly nice - I listened to it twice through whilst putting the tree up yesterday
Sinead O'Connor's version of Silent Night gives me goosebumps
Oooo Pengy! that does that to me too. Haunting isn't it?
Okay I am going to be controversial now.
Fairy tale of New York is not ( IMO) the greatest Christmas song ever.
IN fact it has probably been played to death.
I am actually bored with it now.
So there

this reminded me that used to love Steeleye Span (I've still got Now We Are Six on vinyl somewhere)... I went googling and found they were still touring this year.. and saw this...
For Steeleye's Spring 2011 tour, the first half set consisted of them playing the album in its entirety, some 37 years after it was first released.

I'm quite happy to open myself up to derision and ridicule simply because .......................I just love this one
Can't stand the blooming Carey woman...or any crimbo songs mullered by Westlife/Britney/other rubbish peeps!
LURVE Jim Reeves singing Silver Bells, When a Child Is Born by Johnny Mathis always gets me too. Also love the crimbo stuff by Enya. In Dolci Jubilo by Mike Oldfield is another fave along with the afore mentioned Gaudette. In fact, there are few I can't stand!!!
To get me in the mood.....
As any credibility I ever had has gone down the pan - I'll post this one!
Another fave tune!!
Ooo Mrs B you've made me think again of one by Paul McCartney I played earlier that I also love as well as the one you've posted
