Have you bought your pets anything for Christmas.
We've bought ours a luxury weekend away at a pet hotel. They leave Saturday morning and return Tuesday evening. They're so lucky

Why where are you going?
Yes, I have bought pressies for my pet.
My dog and my son's dog get doggie Christmas stockings and toys from everyone in the family.
Nowhere. We're staying at home, but have 12 people coming round on Christmas day, then we'll be over in Durham at my parents on boxing day, so they would basically be locked up in the office out of the way, so we thought a nice holiday for them would be better. They really do love going there.

good choice of pressie Cinds.....lucky pets....
Best bit of crimbo...
The dog is getting a posh (technical) coat... costing ÂĢ40!!! (he won't appreciate it... but he needs it cos he isn't well).
I also want to get him a tempur orthopaedic bed... but that might have to wait til the New Year.
He will also get a selection of toys (preferably something with a hat... cos he likes to rip off hats), a hide boot full of hide chews, meaty treats (his fave)... and something else
Our dog loves opening his pressies... He bloody loves it!!!
Kitteh... she's getting a scratching post, a princess bed, a selection of toys on sticks, and a rhinestone studded harness.
AND HER OVARIES REMOVED IN THE NEW YEAR!

Do they get treats and spoilt while they're away?

Judging by your post in the MCL thread, ^^^^ in essential.

Really laughed at the last part.
Ours both have winter coats, because we keep them clipped short, so when it's cold they need it when we go out. I would not (at this moment in time) pay for a tempur bed for them, because they (although I believe it is just the she) chew their bed. I might send a little stocking up with them to the hotel.

You can get them spayed at six months... she's only five months.. I'm gonna ring the vet tomorrow & get her booked in for as soon as she is old enough

I think that's wise, as she's obviously keen on attracting the Toms and you don't want a house full of kittens.
Took me a moment to think what MCL thread was. Ditts, ring the vets tomorrow, they sometimes will do them earlier if the pets are mature enough. If I remember correctly our girl dog was done at 5 months.

It doesn't seem fair on her to make her go through this... fruitlessly, so to speak

Our cats think the Christmas tree and the giant turkey(which btw is not our christmas turkey) was their pressie....they seem happy enough

Honestly, ring the vet and ask advice. I know cats aren't dogs, (there's a song there somewhere....if you're a 'Cats the musical' fan), but really, they might take her in earlier.

Of course I will. If I remember correctly, don't your kith and kin come from around the area beginning with B, not far from the Durham turn off? If I'm right one of my sisters lives there so I will be driving through to pick her up, so I will wave until I have RSI

The kitten has bought the dog a little doggie santa hat & a santa doggie scarf

See I remember. I'll look out for you. *makes mental note to wear spectacles that day*
I know I've posted this recently, but it seems more apt now in a pet Christmas present thread.
Angus, his first Christmas.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I no longer have a cat we lost her this year but .............for many years I've strayed away from foodie gifts for pets. One year we bought her a stocking with cat nip treats. She went mad for it and found the stocking while we slept ....................she ate THE LOT! We had a house full of people and little runny accidents all over the house!
The day after boxing day we drove 30 miles to the Vets .................i thought she was dieing! Her bum had swollen up like a satsuma!
