We batter everything... my mate was home from Liverpool for a visit a few weeks ago and had her little boy with her.   They were out walking and he asked if the could go to to the chippie because he was hungry.   He chose pizza and chips.. and he was kicking his mum and hissing 'Mum, mum... he's dipped it in this white stuff?!!!'    She replied 'Aye, son.. that's your heritage - get used to it'
