Terry Wogan won't be able to present today's Chidren in Need for health reasons. He's having a procedure on his back and is understood to have withdrawn in line with doctors' advice.

He said he would miss "our wonderful, inspiring evening" but would still be "watching, cheering and donating".

The BBC announced Dermot O'Leary would be stepping in to front the annual fundraiser from 19:30 - 22:00 GMT.

I wonder if he'd be taking the doctors advice if he was still on £1,500 an hour to present it
