Star Wars

Definitely the Goonies

Superman 1-3....after that it just got ridiculous

Indiana Jones (though i do still hide behind a cushion for a lot of it)

Overboard

There was a movie about a little boy on a spaceship, I guess it doesn't really count because I haven't seen it in years, but would love to see it again.  The spaceship was all chrome and he had these weird robot/alien type friends on it.

I seem to have a vague recollection of her chewing a lot of gum

Jurassic Park was my life when I first saw it. If I had to construct a Top 10 Films of ALL TIME list than Jurassic Park would be in the top 5 simply from the memory that I have of it.

It blew my 12 year old mind, I had never seen anything like that before and was just in awe of the special effects and the adventure of it all. Every time I watched it I would always imagine myself 'in the film' as a 3rd grandchild of Richard Attenborough, getting into scrapes, and being chased by dinosaurs. It literally was my world.

When everyone else, at 12 years old, starting snogging girls behind the bike sheds, smoking a cigarette for the first time and genuinely just 'being cool', I was too busy setting up the 'Jurassic Park Club' that I held in the computer room at lunch times.  There were only 2 members, myself and this sweaty, smelly girl that use to shave her eyebrows off...it only lasted a couple of weeks

But yes, Jurassic Park is a contender for best film ever.

  The Jurassic Park Club

My sister was a complete Jurassic Park geek (she wasn't smelly though, and never shaved her eyebrows )  It was a pretty jaw dropping movie though.  I'd say it was excellent in the cinema.  The scene with the veloceraptor (only know the name because my sis had us all brainwashed) peering in the kitchen window is so chilling
